Hi Lotus flower, thank you for the question. :)
I checked but cannot find a tag. I'm not 100% sure. I THINK it might be a thick cotton or cotton blend, it's not stretchy, seems like it is very strong fabric. Almost reminds me of a soft/thinner jean material. The color has faded a little since I had washed it every time I used it. The rings seem strong too (I think metal, but not 100% sure either). Sorry... I tried googling it but really did find the answer to this, the company doesn't exist anymore. I did find some nice you tube posts about how to use this sling though, with a variety of holds.

Is this one for infants? And the other for babies that are a little older?

Usually ring slings are better for younger babies that like to be snuggled close to their parents (almost like being swaddled in a blanket), there are positions I think for toddlers sitting in them but toddlers are so active I never tried it. Babies seen to like to fall asleep quick in these slings. I only used this a few times, I used the other carrier more and also have a sleepy wrap carrier but keeping that as it is my FAVE and still love it for my toddler. The infantino carrier can be used for young babies AND young toddlers because they can face you (which is also soothing and they often fall asleep) or they can face outward and see everything when they can support their head. Personally I favor the infantino and the sleepy wrap the best for being comfy to wear but some people really like ring slings, I got this to try, was ok just not my go-to carrier. :)

NEED MORE CREDITS? I have been asked several times how to make credits w/ surveys, so here are the instructions (took me a month or so to figure out how to do the surveys/where the FREE ones were, so sharing with all my Listia friends out there. :)
There are several ways to earn credits on Listia. 1) list stuff (but takes long time, especially when you are new), 2) complete offers (but then you have to give personal info which I'm still iffy about here. 3) SURVEYS - answering ?s, giving opinions, watching videos or looking at ads etc. I love doing the surveys, I have made as much as 3000 credits in a day doing peanut labs, Ampario, and recently lab42. Ok, to get to the surveys, 1. Go to "Get Credits" at the top of the screen/page on whatever page of listia you are on, 2. Click "Fill out trusted surveys" from the list (you can also click watch todays videos, but only usually 1 or 2 videos/day for few credits). 3. You will see two tabs - one for Peanut Labs & one for Surveys by Trial Play
4. Peanut labs, right under the tab you should see surveys, First time you have to enter you info (birthday/male or female/ age/ income level/ etc....) Once your basic info is in, you will start getting good surveys in this spot. in blue, for ex. Free Research Survey....300 credits.I just do mainly Peanut Labs surveys, in Blue at top, and once I finish however many are there, I click "Refresh" on the internet page, and usually more surveys pop up (that's my tip/hint - refresh for more surveys AFTER you completed all the surveys shown) I usually don't do the ones with the pics next to them, usually those take long and I have problems getting the credits. Ampario & lab42 survey you can do 1 per day, they are under the TRIALPLAY tab.

Here is a great link, shows how to do various holds using this sling, including:
Chest to chest hold, back carry, hip carry, cradle hold, kangaroo carry

http://www.youtube.com/user/KiddieCradles

There are tons of video tutorials online and on you tube on how to thread the fabric through the rings, and you can choose to wear it on either shoulder.

Sorry, I copy and pasted about Box not included, from my other carrier auction. This one does not have any box for me to look at.

Also, as a reminder, FREE shipping is @ 6000 credits, otherwise is $4

Sorry for any confusion. All that info is above in original auction about the shipping cost but sometimes people miss it.

My mistake about a BOX but anyhow i can not ship anything in a box.

@ Lotus Flower, I know it is hard to find these things in the stores these days, I only see regular back pack carriers for babies in the store.

***PLEASE READ: SAFETY INFO about using carriers with infants!!!!***

ALWAYS ensure that baby's chin is NOT touching baby's chest, baby's airway is blocked in this position!!! When baby wearing, no matter what type of carrier, ALWAYS do checks to make sure baby's chin is NOT touching his or her chest, to ensure baby's airway is open. Baby should not be in a "C" position. Slightly reclining is ok, but NOT chin down on chest.

Also make sure there is an opening (i.e. you can SEE baby) so baby is getting air.

It is always important to understand how to safely use equipment that is for babies.

Moms have been baby wearing for years and years and years, when done right is very safe and an AWESOME bonding experience.

Always better safer than sorry!!!
