Description

The listing, 1st Generation iPhone 8gb Please Read has ended.

I have a first generation iPhone 8 gb. It was on AT&T. I think it needs a new battery installed. Not sure so it's being offered as is. Might be easy to fix but I have no clue and I have a iPhone 4 now so no need for it.
It will come with a pink and white case, and charging cable. I don't have a SIM card for it. No cracks on screen, black battery cover could used replaced but if you use case it's not a issue.

It will not charge past the point shown. Once plugged in turns on. Pictures were taken a few hours ago. It's also over 5 years old

You can get them at AT&T when you activate it or you can find them online. If you jailbreak it I do believe you can use a prepaid SIM card as well

Being 100% honest I cant say for sure. I really don't know much about working on phones, I know when I plug it in it will charge for a few minutes and then it will turn on. Now it hasn't been in use for years and has been sitting since the iPhone 3 came out. I am about 95% sure its the battery but I can't say for sure and I don't want to lead anyone on saying I know what exactly is wrong. I know after I plug it in, it will charge till it turns on, if you unplug it while on it will last maybe a 2 or 3 minutes then shut off. I cant get it to charge all the way, which is why I think its the battery.

Did you do a hard reset. Hold the home button and the power button until the phone blacks out the. It will turn itself back on. Sounds like a firmware issue. Try to do a hard reset and then go into setting, on wifi if possible grab all the latest updates. This phone in good condition still is at retail for over 100
