Description

The listing, The Bucket List DVD - Jack Nicholson, Morgan Freeman, Sean Hayes, Rob Morrow, directed by Rob Reiner has ended.

The disc and case are in great shape.

From Fandango: Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman star as two terminally ill cancer patients who decide to break out of the hospital and live their last days to the fullest in director Rob Reiner's seriocomic road movie. Edward Cole (Nicholson) is a corporate billionaire who is currently sharing a hospital room with blue-collar mechanic Carter Chambers (Freeman). Though initially the pair seems to have nothing in common, conversation gradually reveals that both men have a long list of goals they wish to accomplish before they kick the bucket, and an unrealized desire to discover what kind of men they really are. But one can't accomplish such lofty objectives from the confines of a hospital bed, so now, in order to live their lives to the absolute fullest, Edward and Carter will have to make a break for it. With a checklist that includes playing the poker tables in Monte Carlo, consuming copious amounts of caviar, racing the fastest machines on four wheels, and much more, these two terminally ill men will do their best to fit a lifetime of experience into their last remaining days while forging an unlikely, but truly remarkable, friendship.

Thanks - I think so too! I've been whittling down my movie collection over the past year and it took me a while to part with this one. :)

Hi Debi - thanks for your comment! Can you provide me with your postal code so I can check into it? I don't normally mail anything to Canada so am entirely unfamiliar with the cost difference, but am willing to check it out and let you know. :)

Fanned, watching and bidding. I knew it would be a great movie, considering the casting - and it was. I've only seen it once and would love to own a copy of it. Thank you for offering it for auction.

Great - and good luck on the bidding! I really had no idea how many people enjoyed this movie...I'm a big fan of the cast, as well. I'll watch anything if it has Nicholson or Freeman in it. :)

That might make it a bit more complicated (I'm homebound so have to rely on my boyfriend for anything I can't do on the Internet), so I guess I can't offer free shipping to Canada... According to the website estimate it will cost $7.35 which is three times more than shipping within the U.S. and since my boyfriend uses several different means of shipping depending on where he is for work and other reasons I couldn't even begin to guess where to check otherwise. If you don't mind paying for the shipping I have PayPal and we can set something up that way - sorry I can't help more!

Well ArtfulAnomaly aren't we a pair!!! I'm the same way at least im supposed to be homebound but go with my truck driver hubby so im not stuck at home...so offering the shipping isn't a problem...at least sweetie u r willing to OFFER it to me and I am forever thankful to u...i would NEVER expect free!!!! yes I did hear that shipping DID go up and I'm VERY upset by this as there r quite a few of us on here who r very committed to Listia and r VERY upset by this! It's taken away Listia from us now as no one in the states or very few now will ship to us...won't even offer it :-( and even with myself being on very limited disability income I still put aside enough so that I can give free shipping to keep Listia what it is..free... I love Listia and have made a lot of wonderful friends on here but it's now come down to the point that I think it's now only for Americans...:-( I will keep trying and asking if people will offer shipping until I tire of it lol anyway thank u do very much f/w/bidding closer to end day ;)
God bless dear

Yes, the postal situation really is sad...and starting in the fall US post offices will no longer be open at Saturdays, either, adding yet another glitch to the problem. It's frustrating, for sure! I love Listia, too - it's definitely got a nice 'community' feel to it, so I'm sorry you're sort of feeling pushed out by the situation. :(
