'Marmande' (Indeterminate French Heirloom)

A classic French beefsteak variety which produces the large, ribbed tomatoes that are commonly seen all
across Europe. The meaty fruit has a superb flavour and is great sliced up for salads and cooking with,
as it produces very few seeds. Plants thrive indoor/outdoors in a sunny position. Provide them with a
sturdy stake to help support the weight of the heavy fruit.

'San Marzano' (Semi-Determinate/Indeterminate Italian Heirloom)

Famous Italian Plum Tomato. The standard tomato used to make sauce with in Italy due to the sweet flavour,
meaty flesh and low seed density. This variety produces clusters of delicious, elongated plum shaped fruit.
The fruit is thinner and more pointed than that of the Roma tomato. So apart from usual cooking and canning
proccess it also makes the fruit ideal for drying. In the right climate sun dried tomatoes are an affordable
simple way of preserving these classic fruits.
Many Chefs around the world consider San Marzano to be the best sauce tomatoes there can possibly be, buts
theres no harm done just enjoying the flavor sliced up in salads with some mozzarella cheese
