Description

The listing, Women's Gravity Defyer Sport sz 8.5 has ended.

Like new. These shoes have been worn exactly once. I found them to be a tad too tight for me, but I can't return them, so my loss is your gain. Gravity Defyer Shoes retail for $100 or more. They will make you appear taller and will ease joint pain and pressure on your spine.
I offered these before with free shipping and high starting credits and no one was interested, so now I'm offering them again with low starting credits and you pay shipping.
You will not get the shoebox with these because that would increase the postage cost. These shoes will be shipped in a medium flat rate Priority box - You'll get shoe bags and an extra set of (gray) laces.
Please ask questions before bidding.

very nice! Not sure if you know, but flat rate shipping for a standard "shoe box" size is $5.99 - post office has them for free, could you do that to save on shipping by any chance? Thanks :)

The "shoe box" size you can get at the P.O. for free ships for $12.35. The dimensions of that box are 11" x 8.5" by 5.5". That's actually smaller than the box these shoe come in, which is why I'm saying that you will not get the original shoe box. The smaller flat rate box that ships for $5.80 is 8 5/8 by 5 3/8 by 1 and 5/8 inch. Round that up to 9 by 6 by 2 and it's easier to visualize that one shoe would not fit in there, never mind two. Less than two inches tall! I don't think you could fit ballet flats in that - lol. So, yes, I am aware of all the flat rate boxes and their flat rate prices, but $12.35 is the shipping cost of the medium flat rate box and even that is going to be a tight squeeze. Wish it weren't so. Thanks for your suggestion though

well, shipping shoes in a med flat rate box is like leaving $5 tip to the post office :) easier to ship by weight then, in like a box from a cereal. But, sorry-not trying to tell you what to do or anything. will be watching! would love these shoes!

Thank you for your comments as I'm sure others are thinking the same thing. I just changed the shipping to EXACT. The winner can determine how they want the shoes shipped and pay accordingly. Priority Mail in lightest weight packaging would be cheaper, but maybe not by that much. It depends on where you live and the distance from 02642.. The shoes themselves with no packaging at all weigh 2 lbs 4 oz. With packaging they would weigh another 8 oz, but because that's within the range of 2 to 3 pounds the cost is the same. Priority shipping by weight is according to weight and zip code/region. So for example it would be $6.60 from here to NY, but $10.60 to IN and probably another $4 to CA - making the price higher in that case than the priority box. I'm not trying to make money on shipping and $12.35 is the cost of the smallest flat rate box they will fit in. If you want standard shipping (parcel post) it might be a few cents cheaper but you'll wait longer. Thanks for watching.

yes - they are mostly light gray suede. There's white mesh and light pink ribbon detail on the side mesh parts as shown in the pictures They are laced with pink laces, but they come with an extra set of laces that are gray, yes - there is a slight staining on the soles, that's why I photographed them to show they are not absolutely pristine, but there is no staining or marks anywhere else. The discoloration you see is actually more distinct in the photo than it is in real life, but let's be real - who looks at the shoes of your shoes and expects them to be perfectly clean. I thought my pictures were sufficient, but I can take more at higher res if you need them. I wore them onetime only and decided they were just a little too snug for me. I wear an 8.5 but sometimes a 9. It really depends on the shoe and I should know better than to buy shoes on line, but my mistake might mean that you get a hundred dollar pair of shoes for shipping and Listia credits. Measurements of a shoe are not going to be very helpful and I can't actually give you accurate measurements of the inside of the shoes where it really matters. Best I can do is give you measurements of the sole. They are exactly 11 inches long. They are 4 inches across the widest part of the foot. The heals are 3 inches wide.

Watching. Curious, What is the little slot thingy on the bottom and why is it that they make you look taller?

by slot thingy do you mean between the soles and heals? If so, it's just the brand label. It says " Gravity Defyer Sport". The "makes you look taller" is on the box, but they do make you taller the way that high heels do. There's a lot of space between your heel and the floor, but it doesn't really look that way on the outside.
