hardcover - book is in perfect condition - photos are of actual book - there is a dust cover but it shows some wear and since the book is so beautiful I photographed it - 55 spectacular blooms - watercolorist Juan Vela brings them to life in exquisite detail - interesting text about each bloom - I was upset that there was no index until I realized they were in alpha order and I easily found the ones I wanted to see first
