These were given to me as a gift but I never had the chance to wear these earrings due my sensitivity to certain metals. That being said...These are not real gold or gold-plated. It is costume or fashion jewelry by the well-known clothing store, J Crew. It's only recently that J Crew started marking their jewelries. Since this is probably from 5 years ago, there is no markings of J Crew. It has been stored in a J Crew box and bag.

The design on these are classic nautical ropes.
It can still be worn with any style because of its simplicity.

My home is pet-free and non-smoking.
