Nah, its hot pink from what I see. its the same hot pink color as the current bid above it. It also looks a bit red because the pic is dark. I held up a red shirt to the screen and its def. not red. Hope that helps someone! :o)

Good luck on your auction! I, too would like to know how much it holds and would like to know if it lets you put iTunes purchased music on it.

Actually, then the answer would be no. Purchased iTunes music ( the 99 cent songs, not the 1.29 songs) are protected and not in MP3 format. Since they are protected, you can't convert them to MP3 so no, they would not go on this shuffle. Thank you for answering though! iTs still a nice item, I just can't use it unfortunately. All of my fave songs were purchased using gift cards and they didn't have the non protected format when I got them. :o(
