I have been a competitive chef/baker for years, so without tooting my own horn, I can say that I know food. I have developed literally thousands of recipes.
About a year ago, I rescued a chihuahua (she's the famous Rosie!) and she had a lot of problems. She was underweight, her coat was dull and falling out and she has some dermatitiis that was causing her to lick her skin constantly. This caused her fur to fall out and sores on her legs. She was very picky and skiddish when it came to eating.
I decided that i was going to develop a recipe (or several) that she would like to eat and would also make her healthy. After several tries, and many, many hours of internet research, I finally came up with a great recipe that I can make once a week and she has food for the entire week. Not to mention, she is INCREDIBLY healthy now.
