Also thought it was neat that you're a truck driver...when I was younger we would take long trips to visit my Grandmother..(8-9 hours away) and I'd love getting all the truckers to honk, and at one point I wanted to be one..lol Now it's getting more and more common to see woman truckers <3

These appear to be promotion items. A century ago, until around the late1950's, many stores would give away small packs of sewing needles. Needles for the ladies and matchbooks for the gentlemen.
