The listing, LONG Yarn Scraps Multi Colors and Weights - Includes FULL SKEIN & Fun Furs has ended.

A full, unused skein of Red Heart soft yarn in "Jeweltone", 3/4 of a skein of Red Heart in "Burnt Orange", a sizeable skein of what looks like cotton sock yarn in multi colors, plus lots of long yarn scraps in varied shades of red, orange, gold and a couple of fun furs.
I just started on Listia but I am a Power Seller on Ebay and I also have a shop on Etsy.
Shipping will be free after I get enough credits.

Its over 13 oz. so I can't send it first class. I think it will all fit in a priority mail flat rate envelope for 5.25 (they just raised the price from 4.99).
This is my first listing on Listia. Do people usually list the shipping price in the listing or do they just send a msg. and ask, like you did? I haven't done all the tutorials yet, but will tomorrow.

When you list the auction you will see a pull down bar that says advanced options and you can put in the shipping price. Also you can put it in the description. Thank you for answering my question about shipping.

With regards to shipping, an idea to help to attract bids is to have the shipping cost set; so in your case I would test if it will fit into the Flat Rate envelope (and close!) or if it will need a box, as it sounds like you will fall between costs as far as a Medium Flat Rate box vs. Priority Shipping based on weight. When using Etsy I usually take the famous TV CA zip code and use the USPS site to estimate a cost that will cover most any place in the US. For you 12345 gets you to NY, and is easy to remember!

Another idea is to weigh it in the box you plan to use to ship, and share the weight and your zip code, and let us do the work of figuring out the cost. It is sometimes fun to watch the different prices across the US as folks post what it would cost to them to work in some conversation, and potentially give a casual observed a cost idea without having to get a direct estimate.
