The Blair Witch Project...
According to legend, the Blair Witch is the ghost of Elly Kedward of the late 1700s, whom several children accused of luring them into her home to draw blood from them. Kedward is found guilty of witchcraft, banished from the village during a particularly harsh winter, and presumed dead. By midwinter, all of Kedward's accusers, along with half of the town's children, vanish. Fearing a curse, the townspeople flee Blair and vow never to utter Elly Kedward's name again.Three film students go to Burkittsville, Maryland to make a documentary on the Blair Witch legend. The director is Heather Donahue (Heather Donahue), her main cameraman is Joshua Leonard (Joshua Leonard) and Michael Williams (Michael C. Williams) is the sound crew. The three go missing, but a year later their footage is found in a bag inexplicably buried under an abandoned 100-year-old house.

Curse of the Blair witch...
Despite being about an hour of footage that was cut from the film "The Blair Witch Project," Curse is every bit an authentic-looking documentary. A behind-the-scenes look at the mythology of the Blair Witch, it consists of local news affiliates accounting the facts of the students' disappearance in 1995. Local personalities like the town historian of Burketsville, film professor Michael DeCoto of the Montgomery College, professor of folklore Charles Moorehouse from Hampshire College, anthropology professor David Mercer from the University of Maryland, Burketsville Sheriff Ron Cravens who was on the missing persons case, Private Investigator Buck Buchanan, and the brother of one of the students are all interviewed. Even a 1940s news reel of Rustin Parr in prison is included.
