Description

The listing, GENUINE RUBY 139.5 carat natural loose gemstone has ended.

I won this beautiful stone on here a couple months ago. The seller provided the same descriptive specifications that I have provided below, except for the value. When it came to me, I took it to my local jeweler and he verified that it is indeed an all-natural, non-heat treated or glass filled 139.5 carat ruby. Its raw value is approx. $700. The jeweler was amazed by the good deal I got on this stone, but unfortunately, I have not had any luck selling it and I'm not creative enough to try to design a piece of jewelry using it. This would be a perfect gift or piece to design a custom piece of fine jewelry around. This is huge and beautiful! Satisfaction guaranteed or you can return it if you are not satisfied! USE GIN AND I WILL SEND AN AWESOME BONUS ITEM!! Thanks for looking!!

I will ship to Listia verified addresses only.

you can buy these everyday at policeauctions.com ; but I've had the same problem as you, they are hard to sell, the stones are opaque and rough cuts. I got scammed by someone on here that sold me a 800+ emerald. They had an appraisal from what I know now is not a reputable company. The gemologist said it was an emerald, but it belonged at the bottom of a fish tank. Their appraisal showed $2,540, gemologist said it was worthless. Basically, a "junk gem". About the only thing you can do with these is make a pendant out of it. The policeauctions.com was sellng tons of these poorly cut, low grade gems. I lost 92,000 credits + the $200 or so I spent at the policeauction. They are real, and they make a good conversation piece and all can be turned into some kind of jewelry. Thanks for your honesty about trying to sell it.

Yeah I believe the person I got it from purchased it from a police auction. Its not really a waste-you could keep yours and pass them down in your family or list them on here like I did. Or try craigslist. I had this on CL and basically said the same stuff in my CL listing and listed it for $200 or best offer. I did get some interested buyers, I just don't trust people out there lol. One guy was going to buy it but he creeped me out so I didn't want to go meet him lol. I offered to meet at a jewelry store of the buyer's choice to get the stone verified but this guy insisted on me coming to his house. Creepy no thanks!!
