Description

The listing, Vintage English/Brittish Tobacco Pipe has ended.

I got a five authentic vintage tobacco pipes recently for really cheap and decided to list this one on here to see how it does. I'm not sure exactly how old it is. It is marked "Pipe by Lee" "Imported Briar" and also has three stars (see pic 3). If I remember right after researching I found out it is an English made piece. It has a brown stem (not sure what it is made out of) and the stem has a lot of wear to it (see pic 4). It also has a rounded bowl, which is made out of Briar wood. I will try to answer any questions you may have the bet I can.
Due to my current circumstances, I may not respond to you're questions right away and you're package may be shipped a few days late. If this is a problem for you DO NOT BID! My grandmother is suffering from cancer and I am helping to take care of her so everything revolves around that. I CAN NOT do free shipping so do not ask for it. All rude comments will be flagged and users leaving them will be blocked. I ship USPS to the USA only. I ship once a week. I take paypal (preferred), and money orders only!. Hi, does the pipe stem fit proper to the pipe? I see a gap and wondered if it is in fact loose. Also is the stem just have tooth chatter or is there any cracks or holes?
last, please measure the total length of the pipe. Serious interest and also in your others.

Three of the other ones are for sale for sure and I may list one other one on here. I have to do more research because they are all different, one has silver on it and is hallmarked could be sterling, def. European silver based on the halllmarks. There are no cracks or holes, just "tooth chatter" on the stem. I just noticed a small chip on the bowl where the stem attaches, I will get a pic by tomorrow. Looks like out of all of the ones I got this one was the most frequently used. I have no idea if it is the original stem, or if it is a "proper fit". I know it unscrews from the bowl and I think it wasn't screwed in completely when I took the photos because when I just unscrewed it and re did it the gap doesn't seem to be there like in the pics. It measures almost 5.5 inches just under that. Hope that helps and answers your questions. If you want me to take a pic with the stem re-screwed in when I take a pic of the chip let me know.

Ty, thanks for the details!!!! My husband collects and smokes pipes but just the length on this one would kill my bidding. He likes at least 6" or longer. He has a few this size but claims he never smokes them. I hope you list the others. I'll be watching as it would make a nice fathers day gift for him. Thank you again and good luck with your auction.

You are welcome. If I list the other ones and they are 6 inches or longer I will let you know. I do think one of the five I bought is but that's the one with the silver and I will probably sell it for actual money rather than credits, but it is possible some of the others might be 6 inches or longer. I never thought to measure them. It's not something I personally collect, nor do I know anyone who does, or who uses them, so I didn't think about the length making a difference. I'm going to try to do some research on the other pipes this week.

The length according to hubby is a personal preference for comfort in holding, the larger the hand the larger the pipe theory- LoL. By the way he says the Lee is a pretty decent pipe.

That makes sense lol. All of them seem to be pretty decent quality wise, and the one with the silver seems to be high quality.
