What is the battery life? I've heard that the back-light readers only last a day or two between charges.

Idk that might be true but i have no idea about these things lol i read in the guide it says

low power consumption. this unit can run for up to 4.5 hours* reading time between battery recharge.

*depending on use

If it doesnt get WiFi or Internet then how do you download books? I do not understand all of these ereaders, tablets, android, iPads, iPods, etc. Trying to learn day by day!
