Up for bids is a beautiful Vera Bradley bear done in yellow, blue and green with a velvety black ribbon tied around his neck. Sitting he is almost 10" tall and 10" wide at the feet. This would make a great addition to your collection.

Hi, can you guarantee the authenticity of this item? I ask because the Vera Bradley tag is in a totally different font than all the tags and stitching on every Vera I own or have ever seen. Also, they just started making bears this year as part of their baby line, and this isn't a pattern available for sale...so- I'm just trying to verify if this is VB or a look-alike? Thank you.

You know what though? I'm doing more research and it does look like they used to make bears and retired them a long time ago. So I could be mistaken. It's really the logo that is throwing me off, please know that I am just asking and not trying to be a jerk. Thank you:)

sorry it took me this long to answer you. I looked on the tag and there is no date but it does say for children age 3 up. I haven't done any research on this but I do know VB made bears. Thanks for your input, it is always helpful.

I do think this is real, based on others like it that are posted on eBay. The logo today looks very different and the new bears/bunnies have a different look, but it does appear to be authentic.
