Kramer Jewelry was created in New York in 1943 by Louis Kramer. After a short time Louis was joined by his brothers Morris and Harry. Together the three brothers created beautiful costume jewelry in a variety of styles and designs for all types of clients. The pieces that were created by this company are highly collectible. They can be identified by markings on oval and triangular plaques affixed to the jKramer did not make its own products. The three brothers designed the jewelry using sketches then contacted other companies to create their designs. The brothers hired companies such as DeLizza, Elster Dan Kassof Inc. to produce the jewelry that they had envisioned. In doing so, the jewelry does not have a specific look that is constant. All the pieces made by this company were unique. This is also why the creations were labeled on the back with the name of the company.ewelry.
