This is a very well made pendant! The silver setting was constructed to allow a lot of light to pass through the gemstone. 'Mystic Topaz' is a very colorful gem in different shades of purple with touches of bluish green. It is very popular! My understanding is that ALL MYSTIC TOPAZ is man made/lab created. Correct me if I am wrong. It is a large pendant and it hangs from an 18 inch, very dainty sterling silver chain. BOTH ITEMS ARE STAMPED 925. This pendant could pass for a white gold pendant. LET ME REPEAT....IT IS SILVER NOT GOLD! I wore it two times. Otherwise, consider it new! 6 days only so watch & fan me! Adding a couple more sterling pieces and an 'Angry Birds" computer pig/bird thing and possibly one of my many "MY #D VIEWER for iphones and ipads! Keep checking me out!
