This hand made necklace is 19"' long. it is full of detail, texture, and movement with various colored Feathers, Jasper, Agate, Gold Stone and metal beads, with a strong lobster claw clasp.

Any that know me know of my love for our winged friends. I rescue and release wild birds, and continue to care for the ones who are unable to leave. They are incredible, intelligent creatures that have so much to share and teach us! Birds/Air Animal Totems have a penchant for assisting us in matters of higher knowledge. Air being the most ethereal of elements, it's understandable that the creatures who inhabit it are able to lend the best understanding of it's invisible ways. Closest to the heavens, air animals are our best allies as they herald our desires to the very gods in the skies.

Birds/Air animal totems are also symbols of strength (both physical and mental) and sovereignty. Very important traits, particularly when we are experiencing new transitions or surroundings in our lives.

All of the feathers on this necklace were collected from my own feathered babies, after they had molted. They have remained in their naturally beautiful state, and not dyed.
