I think the gentlemen was right...about being a slug...it's a "Fake" coin that people USE to use in machines to buy soda's etc. back in the Olden/Golden Days....:)...They used them to do laundry etc until the machine maker's got smart and changed their machines to except only American "Real" money....I haven't seen one in a while myself...this is just MY opinion folks...I'm not here to rain on ANYONE's auction, because I don't like that when people do it to me...just giving my 2 cents to see if it helps anyone...I COULD BE WRONG as easily as I could be right....:)

Looks like a blank quarter planchett since the edges are curved which is how blanks are made ready for striking.
