Wow, different question a cancelled stamp has no value except to collectors of stamps. An uncanceled book of stamps is one you buy at the post office. Forever stamps are good forever for full price 1st class postage. 44 cents now whatever the increase in january still full value for a stamp. If postage goes up to 46 cents these will be worth that much, they never expire or go down in value, saving for example 40 cents for the book.If you were to save these for ten years and postage is $5.00 to send a letter these would be worth $5.00 each, heaven forbid that it would go up that much.
ok i know forever stamps means it is equal to the current stamp price, but i've never heard them referred to as uncanceled? that's all i was asking about.. lol
when someone mails with a stamp, the postal service cancels them out with their own stamps over it (inked ones, not postage ones)...hence the term cancelled/uncancelled. uncancelled just means unused :) super great listing, definitely watching - thanks for posting! :o)
