When you first get one its molded into a shape. When ready to use remove the plastic outer wrap and just put it in water in the tub or sink. It opens up into a wash cloth right before your eyes the pictures stay on it and when you are done you can toss it in the washer time and time again they can last for years like any other washcloth They are a lot of fun.
