The listing, Yardley's of London Bakelite Beehive Container has ended.

Very old antique Yardley of London cold cream container. Made out of a caramel colored glass with a bakelite top. Top has the famous Yardley Beehive on it!! These were sold durring the 1930's and 40's. There is a bit of dust on this, I do'nt clean antiques, I'll leave that up to the new owner. These are highly collectable!! Thanx for looking and good luck bidding!!

So the bottom of the container is glass and the top is plastic? Because bakelite is not glass.
