Hi Carol, I too would make earrings out of these. There is a group in Bazil that coil wire around them and then do string weaving it's like the old string art they use to do where you weave and wrap string around little nails in the wood and form different pictures. Where these you would use the same technique. I would be happy to put up a pair of these earrings for you all to see.
