I really wish you could still tell me how is it unlocked ?
CDMA phones are programmed to only work with the carrier that sells them
Verizon and Sprint do not import ESN from each other !
My husband has been sell cellphone for over 25 years
Only GSM type phone can be unlocked
He thinks you mean the phone ESN is clean and has no outstanding bill , since you were on US Cellular someone on that carrier can use it .
boost mobile will take some sprint phones on their system ( sprint owns boost and it in partners with virgin mobile )

i think t mobile uses sims card for their phones. im not sure. youd have to ask t mobile if this phone is compatible with their services. their is no sims card slot. its the samsung galaxy s2 sch-I500

it will work for any network that doesnt use a sims card. i used it while overseas with their carriers and no problem there or switchin back to usa carriers

If the model number is SCH-i500, then this isn't an S2. It would be the model prior to the S2, which is the Samsung Galaxy Mesmerize.

Either way, still a great phone and worth at least 80k.

this was unlocked 2 yrs ago so it falls with the grandfather clause since it was done before that law so its legally unlocked.

im not sure. i informed the phone company (us cellular) that i was being deployed over seas and was wantin to use my cell over there so they had it unlocked. google "unlock samsung galaxy s2" im sure theres somen out there thatl be able to explain it to ya. im not that good with cell phones lol

it was for contract but since its unlocked, u should be able to use it as prepaid, like i can here for a diff carrier. ud have to ask the carrier ur interested in usin it for if and for what the sch-I500 is compatible with if anything

I was wondering , How do you unlock an CDMA type phone ?
CDMA type phones only work on the carrier the come from
The only carrier I know of that can take some CDMA phones from other carriers is Intelos .
Can you tell me who is the carrier for this phone ?
