You would be surprised at how strong these threads can be. Whoever wins should test the strength on something. I have some wonderful ones on wooden spools that I have used several times for mending, buttons, etc.

May I recommend not to use on your sewing machine, since wooden spools indicate age, it may produce more lint than newer threads, always remember to clean your sewing machines :)

(They would look cool next to a vintage singer machine :)

I have a few BOXES... of this thread. My grandmother used it as a twine... I use it for jewelry making and in my papercrafts sometimes... It is pretty string.
