Bone Casting;
In bone casting, bones of various sorts are tossed onto a mat, an animal hide, or into a circle drawn in the dirt, and the resulting patterns interpreted. Throwing the bones is an ancient practice traditional to many regions of the world, including Africa & Asia. The number and type of bones employed, varies quite a bit by culture

Hakata is very similar to Bone Casting except wood, bones, & shells are used as well. This is an ancient practice and there are several forms of this type of divination. The bones, wood, & shells are tossed and the patterns are read.
