The listing, ** Beautiful Estate Ring , Sterling silver ** has ended.

** Beautiful Estate Old Vintage SS ring **

I have had this for years , from my Estate collections , its a very old ring in Excellent condition , I do not know what kind of gems are on it , they appear to simular to a champayne color in the vermiel part , then maybe diamonds in the silver part , I do not know . It is very Unique , the ring is heavy & well constructed . These photos do not do it justice . the markings are 8J925 . I am assuming it is size=8 , bye the way it fits my fingers .

oh my this is truly stunning, i love going to flea markets, yard sales & looking thru those forgotten jewelry boxes in the corner, on the floor, that no one seems to care about or pay much mind to.....i too have gotten some nice pieces and those i could not let go, i too think as you,..."if only they can talk"..thank you for sharing, i guess i'll be up for another 4 hours lol =-)

Thank you Lots ! This came from an Estate sale that made me so sad . A very wealthy Elderly lady passed away not long after her husband , thier son flew in from another state , hired an Auctioneer , he did not even look at anything * just wanted it all gone asap & kept looking at his watch ..I would have at least wanted to look through my parent personal things for memories , I bought alot of things at this one but left sad .

I totally agree with you! If anyone knew the "history" of so many items! I honestly prefer & cherish an older estate piece of jewelry, more so than something brand new. Just for me, the pieces I have found, bought, really loved & worn, are more meaningful to me, in a way. And I have found myself doing as you mentioned. I will find a "rare" vintage piece, I love, wear it for a period of time, then I may find another cool piece & start wearing that one every day. I think I am fascinated by the "work" put into older pieces & they have so much character! Thanks!

Yes , so true about these old vintage rings , after my 25 yrs of going to Estate sales , I was truly amazed that so many were in like brand new condition , I came to the conclusion that either the past owner did not wear them often or that they are so heavy & well constructed that it would be hard to wear them down...Thank you so very much for your sweet comments , I so love to hear & talk vintage rings , I have a safe with all the ones I have saved , I started letting a few go when joined Listia .
