For every 500 credits bid I will send the winner FOUR Lincoln Cent Coins with a Die Deterioration error.

IF you GIN it - you will get a FULL ROLL of Die Deterioration Lincoln Cents PLUS a NON-Lincoln cent US error coin of my choice.

The coin dates will range from 1982 to 2009 (zinc Memorials) - with NO guarentee of getting ANY specific date. Coins can be circulated to GEM BU - I search a $25.00 brick per week, not to mention the OBW BU rolls that get thrown in there. When I find a coin with Die Deterioration - I throw it in the tube - when the tube gets full, I roll it. I have 3-4 dozen rolls of Die Deterioration so we can do this a few times at least.

The pictures represent the types of Die Deterioration that are represented in this auction. There is NO guarentee that you will receive the coins pictured. You will receive coins simular to those pictured.

What is Die Deterioration? Basically it is the die stage just prior to the die being retired - IE... The die is BEAT UP! So the coins look BAD! Extra Metal rings around the rim... sometimes covering the lettering completely... It can also cause Die Deterioration Doubling - this is NOT a Doubled Die, but it is a cool illusion of it. Also refered to as shadow doubling. By this stage a die has probably been clashed and over polished as well. Look that stuff up yourself, school is over. LOL!
