The listing, Ring Marked 18k hge espo has ended.

This ring is marked 18k hge espo. The gold is worn away in areas and there is dirt in the crevices. I don't want to clean it because I don't want to wear away any more of the gold. Apparently the stamp means 18k gold electroplated.

Hey Webchickie, the inscription on your gorgeous ring made me put on my hunting cat and go find out what it meant.(I am sooooo bad about that, not knowing drives me nuts!) :
18K HGE = 18K Heavy Gold Electroplate = plated and not solid 18K gold

Very beautiful ring. Wouldn't fit my fat fingers, but so pretty. Looks like something a sweet Southern Belle would wear
