This is a capable working model-just did an upgrade with comcast and got there model that includes the router. But have been using this all along.

my son said you would have to check out the model number. We have had it for a number of years but it is still in excellent working order was using it just last month worked fine had no problems what so ever. And yes it works with any high speed internet company. we bought this at a time when if you got the comcast one they charged you to install theirs so we got out own. Now they are included and easy to install on your own. So we no longer need it. But we had it hooked up a couple of weeks ago to a upgraded modem because they forgot to send us the combined one instead the sent us some other kind and the router worked excellent with it. It was so fast. You will be pleased with this model. If you need to know more look up the model # online
