Although I have yet to master the fine art of applying the lumpia dough to the skillet with my hand. *smile*

My daughter introduced these to me and she makes them using a pork mixture. I was wondering is the recipe you have a pork recipe also? Watching and fanned!

Yes! The pork's the best but you can substitute anything for the pork. When we get down to making these we make at least 100 or better at a time. WE freeze what we don't eat right away so that we have them for snacks whenever we want. Of course when you start on these it's hard to stop. I like the homemade wrapper rather than a commercial one. I have never heard of anyone making the wraps home made. Wow is the recipe for the wraps included in this recipe? I know I have made home made tamales for many years and they take all day to make but like you said when I make them I do at least 100 and most of the time more like 300 or 25 to 30 dozen. By the time I give many to friends and family I freeze them for Holiday dinners such as Christmas, Easter and just to pull out of the freezer for a snack or regular dinner.

Yeah, we used to do the tamales too and make our own chili rellenos. We're BIG mexican fans here. In fact, my all time favorite are the chili rellenos!
