FREE: Five vintage wood industrial textile spools

The listing, Five vintage wood industrial textile spools has ended.

I'm not sure of the history of these spindles but they are in great condition with brass rings on one end, and a brass "cap" on the other. They are imprinted with a stamp SH538, but on some it's very hard to see the imprint. The imprint can be found near the brass rings. This probably is there to indicate where they were manufactured or for which sewing machine they fit. They make great conversation pieces. Place them in a bowl with potpourri as one of my picture shows. You can also simply place them in a basket and put it on a table which is also something I have done. Just be creative!!! Also, please take note that the only thing that you are bidding on in the first picture (bowl) are the wooden spindles. Please check out my other auctions for the bowl "fillers".
