Inkwell and blotter set from the art deco era has survived but needs a little attention. The blotter is metal, covered with embossed paper or VERY dried out leather. The elegant pattern and shape are still appealing even in its rough condition. The heavy glass inkwell is a 2 part story. The bottom is dense and optically perfect, it has sloped edges and cut corners….A++. Its shape says art deco The embossed paper/ leather covered glass lid has been broken. Most of the pieces are still intact due to the fact that they’re held in place by the paper/ leather on top. Having said all that, this set has a lot of visual appeal and history. The measurements are: Ink Blotter -5” long x 2 ½” across and 2 ½” tall. The inkwell measures approx 2” square and tall.
