This is a fantastic piece. This is a Dalzell Viking glass candlestick in the shape of a koi fish (or possibly a dolphin). This is a replica of an antique Sandwhich glass piece. Dalzell did a series of replicas of vintage and antique glass pieces for the MMA back in the 90's, this vintage design was one of them. However, Dalzell Viking was the only company to make these fish candlesticks in this ruby red color.** This exact candlestick is referenced in Tom Felt's Glass Candlestick Book, Vol 1, on pages 207 and a picture is shown on page 214. **
This is in beautiful condition, there are no chips, cracks, or deep scratches. There are some very light scratches due to use and time on the base, but that's it.
