No it's in New condition. I only carried it a few times. I have a silver Kathy Van Zeeland that I love. I carry that one now all of the time. This one is in excellent condition.

There are 4 zippers on the outside of the purse. None on the back. It also has 2 large compartments inside and 1 small side pocket inside.
