The listing, 1969 Topps baseball card lot w/ Larry Hisle RC has ended.
Here's a lot of eight (8) vintage 1969 Topps baseball cards (NOT reprints). These are all in very nice condition: clean fronts and backs, no creases I see or other major flaws, and most of the corners look great for 44-year old cards.
Phillies Rookie Stars LARRY HISLE & BARRY LERSCH - Hisle was a 2-time All-Star, leading the AL in RBI in 1977, and 2nd in home runs in 1978 behind Jim Rice. A torn rotator cuff limited the rest of his career, but he went on to be the hitting coach for the WS champion Blue Jays teams of the early 90s. Under his coaching in 1993 Blue Jays John Olerud, Paul Molitor and Roberto Alomar finished 1-2-3 in the AL respectively in batting average.
Royals Rookie Stars MIKE FIORE & JIM ROOKER. Fiore started at 1B for the Royal's inaugural season. Rooker pitched for 13 years, highlighted by a strong postseason in 1979 helping the Pirates win the WS.
DICK (RICHARD) HUGHES (P, Cardinals) was runner-up to Tom Seaver for NL ROY in 1967.
HANK AGUIRRE (P, Dodgers) pitched for 16 years, his best being 1962 when he led the AL with a 2.21 ERA and made the All-Star team.
STEVE WHITAKER (OF, Royals) was the regular right fielder for the 1967 Yankees. As a rookie in 1966, he slugged .491 on a team that slugged .374 with the likes of Mickey Mantle.
JOHN EDWARDS (C, Astros) played for 14 years, winning 2 Gold Gloves. The 3-time All-Star holds the record for putouts in a season by a catcher with 1135 in '69.
DAVE BRISTOL (MGR, Reds) managed for 11 years, helming the Reds, Brewers, Braves, and Giants.
BILL RIGNEY (MGR, Angels) was an All-Star as a player in '48 for the New York Giants, and was later the team's manager spanning their move to SF.
