there are advantages to it being just above the ankle for me.. I live in a hilly area and we geta lot of puddles when it rains. at least the dress won't be dragging thru them.(now if I could just figure out a way to wear peep toe heels in the snow...)

The only plausible solution is to carry them along in a separate bag(looks tawdry going out) or carry a larger purse to keep them in( not good either as already enough to dig thru when I need to get to my money or makeup or keys.. plus what do I do with the boots?)..At least I got fashion boots to cover that aspect!
