NIKON MC-20 2.6-Foot Remote Trigger Release with Timer (used only a few times - like new).

One of the reasons to prefer it over the newer MC-36, is that while the MC-20 can take a pill battery (CR2032), the battery is really not needed; the MC-20 gets its power from the camera if the battery is not installed.

With the MC-20, the display and other functions remain active as long as the MC-20 is connected to the camera.

I'm not sure of that. the camera needs to have the outlet to plug into. Best to research on the Internet whether it will work with your camera.

What do you mean by the camera has to have an outlet to plug into? Do you mean your stationary with this foot pedal and cannot move around the venue or wherever your shooting?

Outlet on the camera itself to plug into, not a wall outlet. This is not a foot petal remote, it is a hand remote.

@ MontyM70 - this won't work with the D60 - it requires the 10-pin round connection port only available on the pro-sumer or pro Nikon bodies....
