If you're having problems using a gift card or gift certificate, here are a few things to check:

The seller must accept PayPal.

Your eBay email address must be listed on your PayPal account. If it isn't, you can add it by updating your PayPal profile.
Your PayPal account must have a bank account or credit card associated with it.

Nice auction! I just had one question... after the auction ends, when do you expect you'll send the gift code to the winner? I know Listia allows 7 days to ship but since this is a gift code, the majority of sellers send codes within 24 hours. I'd just like to know how fast you usually send gift codes before I bid on your auction. Watching and planning to bid :-)

This will be sent on the 15th. This is an e-certificate and not a code that I have on hand. The e-certificate code will be sent by ebay and not me. The winner must make sure they provide me with their registered ebay email address in order for ebay to send the certificate via email. Thank you.

Thanks for clearing that up :-) I was a bit confused because every Ebay e-gift card I've seen auctioned on Listia and everyone I've ever won, have come via email through Paypal - not Ebay. Usually the seller buys an e-gift card from Ebay and it's paid for and delivered to the winner via a Paypal email. I've never seen an Ebay gift certificate like this one that's delivered via email from Ebay.

That's why I also asked about when it will be sent to the winner, because usually when the seller buys the e-gift card from Ebay, it's delivered to the winner within minutes in an email from Paypal. I was just wondering if Ebay had a new process for gift cards/certificates or if there's a different way to buy and send one. Thanks so much and good luck :-)

I buy mine through ebay. It may come from Paypal I don't know. I have never received one myself to know what company it comes from. I won't even know what the code is, only ebay and the recipient will know.

I should be more clear that it isn't because ebay is sending it on the 15th, it is my payday and that is when I will purchase it from ebay, but yes you are correct in that within a few minutes of me purchasing it the recipient will get the email with their redemption code.

I will let the winner know when it is purchased so they can watch their email for it to arrive.

Ok will you try & remember to email me? Maybe if you want we can just do a gin. It doesn't matter to me if it's a code, gift cert or a card. But if you don't wanna buy it ahead of time you don't have to, all you do is go directly to eBay & pay for it and they will send the codes directly to the email of the person, also that will save you from any headaches of someone saying the card/code doesn't work, cuz there are jerks out there that will say stuff like that but if the code is sent to them directly from eBay then you have no worries. Just thought I'd add in my 2 cents haha thanks for commenting back. Good luck and if by chance you wanna do one tomorrow then I'm up for it lol

Thanks! That is one reason I did this one like I did so the certificate will be sent directly from ebay. I have done a few Walmart cards and a shell gas station card and sent to the winners and the money was definitely on the cards. I would never send a non working code. I think my ultra violet code feedback a speaks for me :-)
