The seeds from my larger Cacti are ready to be picked and eaten. It produces a really cool fruit that tastes like a cross between a pomegranate and a pear.The auction is for the all the seeds that are produced from an entire pod (the purple PIC shown). You can start them inside if you are coming upon the colder months.
I have no trouble growing these as far "north" as TN. They have reproduced easily and I do NOT have a green thumb :)
