this is a new squash for me, the lady I got it from said that depending on weather it can grow up into the winter, she had just gathered some of the squash in Oct, we planted the seed in the seed starters about 6 days ago and they are already up and about 1 1/2" tall and being seedlings the stems are very sturdy. She told me that this has a very good taste to it, that she just bakes it with some butter and cinnamon and it has a great taste and texture to it. I hope this helps, as I said this is a new one for me also, but was sent ALOT of seed and have a small garden area and didn'twant to waste the seed. Thank you for looking and asking....gail

well thank you, have always loved Bostons, that was all I had for pets when I was little, they hold a very special place in my heart. They have their own personality and are so smart. anyway will fan back as you said anyone that loves Bostons has to be a good person....:-)
