I have "Fanned", "Watching" and "Bid" on Your SONY FD100 Mavica camera. That camera was Released on January 8th 2002 and some have held up fairly well to be still functional if had proper care in their usage. I hope that Yours is still "A...O K !". Its memory card is actually a "MEMORY STICK" that fits inside the slot under that small flip-up cover on the right side edge as viewing the camera from its back. > THERE A "MEMORY STICK" IN THAT SLOT ?.... You mentioned that You do NOT have its charger. > DOES IT HAVE ITS BATTERY INSIDE THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT LOCATED ON THE BAOTTOM OF THE CAMERA ? THERE IS A SLIDE OPEN COVER TO ACCESS ITS BATTERY. TO RELAESE ITS BATTERY, THERE IS A SMALL CLIP TO SLIDE ASIDE AND THE BATTERY WILL BE RAISED UP BY A SPRING BENEATH IT. Thanking You for Your replies, at Your Convenience.... And have a Great Week.... from Bob Huff on Lake Conroe in "OUR" Lone Star State.... PS/ Thanking Your for Your Service with Bastrop County Sheriffs Dept, too....
Yes thank you its a memory stick not an sd card but the memory stick is included! Also I've used this camera on numerous occations so I am aware of its location and yes the battery is included as well as the memory stick! The camera worked the wonderfully the last time I used it! Sorry the charger isn't with it for it was lost during moving! Camera can be charged with a usb cord which I don't have! Hope this helps you with your decision making!
Thanking You for Your reply, Anna. I am interested in this MVC-FD100 as a backup to one that I have. Those Ol' SONY Mavicas are quite unique in many of the features and capabilities. Actually, Photography began as a Hobby for me when I was young and years later led to me being a Lab Tech with NASA in the early days of our Original 7 Astronauts up into the Apollo Series of our Moon Landing on July 20th 1969. Again.... Thanking You for Your Reply.... Bob Huff in Texas U S A....
