Description

The listing, 1000 THIN Porcupine Quills LOW GIN has ended.

You're bidding on 1000 VERY THIN porcupine quills. These are not quite thick enough to do beading with. But they are great for embellishment or gluing onto things. If this auction does well, I'm going to be listing more, so don't worry if you miss out!

I abide by all Listia rules, and require a Listia verified address within 7 days of auction end, or I keep the credits, and relist the item. No exceptions. I ship within 3 days of receiving Listia Verified address. But will not be shipping during Christmas. Sorry!

Thank you and happy bidding!

****also, these aren't just SHED by the animal. these porcupines were killed for these quills by licensed hunters...be aware of this before bidding...these are animal parts...and they were harmed to get them. really tired of people messaging me asking where the quills come from, i'm a vegan, were the animals harmed, etc. they don't shed them in these quantities, folks. fyi. sorry if that makes you uncomfortable, if you don't like it, don't bid. ALSO, i'm not the hunter, or the person doing the hunting...i just get them in raw form, clean them, and re-sell them.

THIS auction is for the THINNER type quills. These are not very good for beading. I have other auctions up now for the thicker kind that are better for beading.

they're usually around 1" - 2 1/2" long...in some cases, shorter, in some cases, longer...but they average around that length...

the thin ones...people use them for quill work, weaving, embellishment, gluing onto things, making traditional native american things
