The Loquat tree has many great qualities. It will grow into a beautiful ornamental shade tree with fragrant flowers and delicious fruit. My Loquat is the vista white variety.

The Loquat produces delicious clusters of small orange melon-like fruit winter through
spring. It is extremely tolerant of salt and cold with fruits to 1 1/2 inches.

Yes Margaret! These take pretty easy and well. I love Japan Plums(that's what we call them here anyways) ! I had quite a few started last year from my Mothers tree and I had to go out of town and Hubby didnt water them:( Awesome fruit and easy to grow!
