they were purchased at an estate sale from a couple in their 80's, so i do not know how far back these beads date too. they are fragile. they are a little heavy; in my opinion, this is not an earring bead due to its weight. perfect for necklaces and hair accessory embellishment.

i bought them with one project in mind, and ended up going a completely different direction.
