I don't grade coins so please look at the photos for condition. It does have wear (but it IS 117 years old!) The photos make it look kind of silvery but it's actually made of bronze and has a nice patina.

I don't know much about coins and I know even less about British coins but the following was sent to me by a fellow listian.

The quarter in the photos is just for size reference and is not included. That's a different penny in that photo as well. I forgot to take a photo of this 1896 penny beside a quarter but I still wanted the bidders to get an idea of the size. As you can see it's a large coin.
