Questions & Comments
Welcome to LIstia! Please try to get verified. It will instill bidder confidence and earn you more credits from your auction.
How do I get verified? Is there a page that tells all the info. on Lista? I don't really understand the bidding.Do all bids start at 0? Any help you can give me will be appreciated, Thanks, Ardy
You can choose what you want the bid to start out at but, if you start it higher than 499 Listia charges you bids for it. At the bottom of your auction page when you begin to tell about the auction, click on the Advanced options. It will allow you to choose the starting bid amount and also list how many days you want the auction to run. When your new like I am, it only allows you to run it for ten days at the most. On your Facebook page and on your Listia home page it will tell you about getting verified. Also click on Listia rules or type it in the search bar at the top of the page. It will help you, too. Best of luck!! You're off to a great start with yarn!
Can you look on one of the labels and see what size crochet hook it requires? See what it says about washing instructions, too, please. The more information you list about your auction the better. Check back often too so when there are questions you can answer them. That will help you to get more bids, too! :)
Hi Linda, Thanks for all the advice! I started this at a bad time as I've been so busy this week and also trying to get ready for Easter. About the yarn, It doesn't say a needle size as it is tapestry yarn but it is a typical worsted or 4 weight yarn. This would typically call for an H hook or #9 needles. It is 100% wool so will need to be hand washed and laid flat to dry. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have more Questions. Ardy
