I made this to take on an airplane so yes you could wear it around your neck. It can hold a checkbook or wallet and a cellphone.

The strap for this bag doubles as a necklace just hook to the size you wish with your favorite ribbon it has fancy metal hoops to enable.

The necklace is about 30 inches long. It hooks on the bag with clasps but has silver hooks for necklace. The bag is about 5"x7"
