There is something written on the inside. it looks like 925 but I thought that was only for silver? It has something else written too but I cannot make it out. It's a beautiful ring!

To be honest, I don't know. I was told by a friend that diamonds have holes on the bottom so that they can breathe otherwise they will turn dark. These have holes on the bottom. It does have something written on the bottom of the ring but my eyes are bad and I cannot for the life of me tell what it says even with a magnifing glass. I'm sorry I cannot be of more help.
